At our clinic, prosthetic treatment using the
All-on-4 / All-on-6 system is performed in accordance with the principles of
functional dentistry.
When chewing with natural teeth, a person senses pressure through the periodontium - this is a natural feedback mechanism that protects the dentoalveolar system from overload.
With implants, such feedback does not exist, and any inaccuracy in bite height or tooth position can lead to excessive load on the structure, microcracks, or even a bridge fracture.
To prevent this, we conduct
individual functional diagnostics.
We determine the height of the teeth and the position of the lower jaw in relation to the temporomandibular joint, using
axiography - a digital method that records all jaw movement trajectories.
As a result, a
functional prosthesis is created that works in harmony with the patient’s natural movements and muscles.
This ensures:
- Physiological distribution of chewing forces
- Absence of micro-overloads on the implants
- Increased longevity of the construction
- Comfort and a natural feeling during chewing and speaking
