Rules for compensation of services:
  • For all insured children under 19 years of age, a visit fee of €5 is charged.
  • All insured adults from 19 years of age are entitled to compensation for dental treatment in the amount of €60, provided that 50% of the invoice must be paid by the patient.
  • All patients with retirement status due to age or full or partial disability are entitled to compensation of €105 per year, while 12.5% of the invoice must be paid by the patient.
  • Pregnant women or a parent with a child under one year old are entitled to compensation of €105 per year, while 12.5% of the invoice must be paid by the patient.
  • Pensioners (by age or due to disability) are also entitled to compensation for prosthetics or implant installation in the amount of €260 once every three years.
The compensation covers:
  • Initial or follow-up dental visit
  • Diagnostics (including X-rays)
  • Placement of medication and temporary filling
  • Placement of a permanent filling
  • Tooth extraction
  • Opening and treatment of an abscess
  • Root canal treatment
  • Surgical removal of tartar below the gums
  • Anesthesia
